The Margin is “an independent media platform that centers the people and places most affected by environmental injustice in the United States.” They’re seeking “reporting on communities on the frontlines of environmental and climate injustice.” They’re looking for “pitches on data centers, energy infrastructure, food systems, wildfire, and stories from underreported regions (the Midwest, the Deep South, Puerto Rico, Hawai'i).” They especially encourage Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQIA+ journalists to pitch.
